How much more are Caymanian people going to put up with?
Tuesday, December 2, 2003
Dear Sir,
Well done Ms Micki Jafa Bodden for having the courage to stand up to the Attorney General.
For too long lawyers in Cayman have been scared for whatever reason to go up against the government.
Also, knowing that Bulgin did this to Mr Randall, how could the government make him Attorney General in the first place? This is the same thing as the previous AG did in the Eurobank trial. The last thing we need is another Ballantyne as Attorney General.
It seems that whenever government officials do something wrong and get caught, they get rewarded. Does anyone else remember years ago when policeman John Boaden got caught impersonating an attorney? He got promoted immediately afterwards.
Ballantyne got caught interfering with the Eurobank trial and got a million dollar golden handshake.
Bulgin got caught interfering in whatever went wrong in Mr Randall's trial and got
promoted to Attorney General.
How much longer are the Caymanian people going to put up with this?
