Malcolm Ellis

Malcolm Ellis is an information systems manager by trade, but an actor at heart. He has been Chairman of the Cayman Drama Society for the past two years. 

"I have enjoyed live theatre since I was a child. My sister took me out to see some live theatre when I was very young, and I fell in love," he said.

Mr Ellis first charmed Caymanian audiences at Prospect Playhouse when he played George in Who's Afraid Of Virginia Wolfe. 

"In my teens I worked behind the scenes. When I came here, I decided I was going to give this a shot, and I never looked back." 

The Prospect Playhouse puts on four to five major productions each year. It is putting on Anne Of Green Gables early next year. Auditions are being held this Sunday.
