Don't let the EU push you around
Wednesday, December 17, 2003
Dear Sir,
I am an American. I am appalled that your nation and people are under pressure to have your banks disclose information about your depositors' accounts.
I believe that governments have no right to to make such demands from other countries. Since when did your people ever agree to be an "Agent" of the EU?
Further, if they expect your nation to cede to these demands, they should pay you the amount of money you will lose from the consequences of betrayal of your depositors, and they should pay for what you will lose over the next 50 years.
I am so tired of "small" nations being bullied by "big" nations, and the people of such nations paying the price for prosperity of other lands.
Don't let them do this to your nation and your people.
