Man held over burglary

A 29-year-old man was arrested by police officers on suspicion of burglary following a report of a break-in at a commercial premise in the Industrial Park area on Monday, 29 December at around 3:15 am. Police saw the suspect leaving the rear of the premises. He then fled in the direction of George Town. He was eventually located on Eastern Avenue and was detained in custody at George Town Police Station.
