Heaven and Hell drama comes to the stage

Monday, February 9, 2004

The life drama, Heaven's Gates And Hell's Flames, will be performed for the second time in Grand Cayman at the First Assembly of God church from Sunday, 15 February to Tuesday, 17 February daily at 7:15 pm.

The drama is a high impact, compelling presentation, which makes people consider where they will spend eternity based on the Biblical reality of life after death and beyond the grave.

A cast of approximately 40 people, all volunteers, act out a series of vignettes about people who live life, make their choices, die and find themselves outside Heaven asking the question, "Angel, is my name in your book?"

If their name is found in the "Book of Life", a choir of angels sings and the person is welcomed into eternal destiny. The drama thus depicts the Biblical reality of an eternal destiny, Heaven and Hell, and that only by accepting Jesus Christ can a person be assured of Heaven and escaping Hell.

The drama, Heaven's Gates And Hell's Flames, began in 1979 in St Catharine's Ontario, Canada. Two members of the current executive incorporated the drama into their ongoing ministry with local church youth groups as a tool to impact people with the Gospel.

From that humble beginning under the direction of full-time teams numbering more than 55, the drama is now viewed by hundreds of thousands annually throughout cities and towns of North America and around the world.

While churches constitute the majority of drama sites, Heaven's Gates And Hell's Flames, often plays to audiences in community auditoriums and even jails. The founder and Director, Rudy Krulik, accompanied by his wife and another couple, will head the visit of the drama to the Cayman Islands.

Admittance to the drama is free. Based on past productions, people are advised to be seated early for the performances.
