Saturday, 14 February
The Valentine's Mile is returning to the local running calendar, organised by Phoenix Athletic Club. The event takes place at Grand Harbour, assembly time is 2:30 pm behind the shops. Registration can be carried out in fron to Hurley's at Grand Harbour on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am to noon. Events will include the Cupids Crawl for ages two and under, the Toddlers Trot for aged 3-5, male and female runds of a quarter-mile (nine and under), half-mile (13 & under, 14-16 and 17-19) and one miles (16 & under, 17-19, 20-39 and 40 plus). The entry fee is $10 for aged six and under and $15 for all others, this includes event shirt, age group and random prizes. For more information call 945-3970.

Saturday, 21 February
The Third Annual Dr J Hugh Cummins Memorial Fun Run/Walk takes place at 7 am with registration from 6:30 am. The assembly point for this year's two-mile event is Smith Cove. The registration fee is $15 and entrants will receive the ICCI memento T-shirt, a continental breakfast and have the chance to win other prizes.

Vampt Motors/CITA Third Annual Golf Tournament takes place at the Britannia Golf Course. 

Thursday, 4 March
The Cayman Islands Basketball Association is inviting all interested basketball clubs and teams to take part in the National Basketball League. There is a meeting for all teams and officials at the Lions Centre at 7 pm. Registration ends on Sunday, 21 March. Saturday, 20 March
The Lions Club of Grand Cayman is holding its International Golf Tournament at The Links at Safehaven. Teams of four play a Scramble with some fun holes and prize drawings to make the competition attractive to players at all levels. Every Monday
The Cayman Islands Duplicate Bridge Club meets every Monday night at 7:15. Visitors are welcome. For more information, call Audrey at 949-2371.

Every Saturday
Cayman Rugby Football Union will be holding rugby matches at the Rugby Pitch at 4:30 pm for kick-off. All are invited to watch. Refreshments are available on sale.
