  • I fail to see how bringing in so many outside workers benefits the Cayman economy, except for the granting of the work permits, most of the money earned on this job will be sent off the Island to benefit the Canadian economy.  It seems to me some of the these positions should go to local tradesmen, at least we know they will be spending some of these funds in Cayman on goods and services.  With the turmoil in Cayman today with expats competing with locals for jobs you would think someone was looking out for Cayman's best interest  - Derrick Powell
