
American Airlines appoints new manager

American Airlines announced the appointment of Nadine Jennings as its new general manager for Grand Cayman.
Ms Jennings has been in the aviation industry for more than 10 years starting as a customer service agent for American in 1992 before rising through the ranks serving as lead agent, training co-ordinator and most recently as airport co-ordinator.
"I am honored to have been chosen to lead our efforts in Grand Cayman," said Ms Jennings.
"Tourism is a vital industry for our island."
American began service to Grand Cayman in 1989. Currently, it has two daily flights from Grand Cayman to Miami and one seasonal weekly service to New York
(JFK).
"Mrs Jennings has proven to be an excellent resource for American, and her knowledge in this market will strengthen our operations in Grand Cayman," said Humberto Rivero, regional managing director for American.
