The law firm, Charles Adams, Ritchie & Duckworth announced the admission of
Alan Gilbert de Saram to the Cayman Islands Bar before His Honour Judge J
Henderson of the Grand Court on 28 April.
One of the partners of the law firm, Rosie Whittaker-Myles moved the
application for the general admission of Mr de Saram.
Mr de Saram, who has joined the Corporate and Commercial Department, was
admitted to practise as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in
September 1998.
With professional experience that includes corporate and commercial law, Mr
de Saram has worked on a number of large transactions, acting for companies
listed (and listing) on, among others, the New York Stock Exchange, the London
Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
Mr de Saram has also acted on several large mergers and acquisitions, private
equity transactions, leveraged buy-outs, outsourcings and fund raisings.
Mr de Saram previously worked as a solicitor with the firms of Dechert and
Fladgate Fielder in London.
