- I think the reason why GIS can't pollinate the
public's need for vital information is because the queen Bee keeps the
workers and the drones close to the hive, drawing nectar only from one
flower. All the while, the queen is re-directing her workers to build her
own personal hive as opposed supporting the colony at-large.
Beehives are run as collectives; each bee serving its purpose for the common
good of the hive; which in turn has its place in the natural order of its
community.
However, when a queen bee re-directs the efforts of the workers and drones
toward self-preservation instead of selfless service of the community
through the hive; the workers suffer, the drones suffer, the hive suffers,
the immediate community suffers and the ultimate impact of the hive on the
community becomes irrelevant.
In the case of GIS, it's clear to all of us in the general public that the
hive is controlled by a queen whose goals are inconsistent with those
established by government; which is why we all see GIS as an irrelevant and
non-credible source of information regarding government.
