Man held in swoop over counterfeit notes

A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of counterfeit currency following a report at business premises on West Bay Road on Wednesday, 26 May.

Police Officers went to the scene and the man was arrested. The matter is now under investigation by the Financial Crime Unit (FCU).

Police Officers are also investigating another report involving counterfeit currency that was recovered from business premises on Shedden Road in the early hours of Thursday, 27 May.
