Originally from Florida, Deana Hawk lived on Little Cayman for two years. “It was a wonderful experience,” said Deana. “There are about 120 people there, so it was also challenging.” For the past year, Deana has been on Grand Cayman with her husband, Jerry, and their two children, Jacob and Savannah. Deana finds her job as an assistant for Island Chiropractic very rewarding: “I enjoy the challenge of making people who may come here not feeling their best, feel wonderful when they leave,” she says. Cooking is another of Deana’s passions. “I love to cook ropa eeija which is a Latin dish; basically shredded beef, made with a tomato-based sauce, onions and garlic,” she said. Deana likes to go scuba diving in her spare time. “I saw an eagle ray, which was absolutely beautiful.”
