The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman will hold a Career Fair at the Family Life
Centre on Walkers Road, this Friday and Saturday.
During the event, more than 30 managers from Ritz-Carlton properties
worldwide will be available to speak to Caymanians and residents interested in
applying for some 800 local job opportunities when the resort opens.
The environment at the Career Fair, which starts at 9 am each day and runs
through 7 pm on Friday and 3 pm on Saturday, will attempt to replicate the
service standard that a guest experiences at The Ritz-Carlton. After a greeting
by a uniformed doorman, attendees will be escorted by a member of The
Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Career Fair team who will explain how the event
works. Each attendee will have a personal interview.
The Family Life Centre will be enlivened with flowers, music and amenities in
an effort to hint at the atmosphere of a Ritz-Carlton hotel.
The event will start a with a welcome from several dignitaries, including the
Leader of Government Business, Hon McKeeva Bush, the Minister of Human
Resources, Hon Roy Bodden, Director of Employment Relations Walling Whittaker,
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman owner and developer Michael Ryan, and
Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman vice president and general manager, Jean Cohen.
Following the Career Fair, on 28 June, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman will
open an Employment Centre on the property on West Bay Road.
