Jermaine Maize

One of the skillful waiters at Treats Restaurant on West Bay Road is Jermaine Maize.

For the past five months he has warmly greeted and served the international clientele.

There is no bigger fan of the Cayman Islands than Jermaine. “I love how calm it is here. It’s so easy-going and there’s not too much fuss,” he said.

A new father, Jermaine now thinks a great deal about his four-month-old daughter Jamie.

“Her birth has been very exciting. She has changed my life and I feel more like a man. I am working harder and thinking and acting more and more like a man,” he said.

In his free time, Jermaine composes lyrics to reggae songs and loves kicking a football.
