- You CAN'T be serious! Peanut oil massages cures
arthritis? This is absolutely ridiculous and counterproductive to all the
efforts we have made to help those with arthritis. What scares me most is
the writer's sentence: "When doctors here told me I had cancer I assured
them I did not, because I ate almond seeds vigilantly." Do you know how many
people you may have just killed with that statement?
Some people, not willing to take the brave and grueling step of receiving
necessary chemotherapy may convince themselves that this patently false
notion will save them. Heaven help your soul if someone decides to forego or
delay medical treatment because of lies like this. You are doing an
incredible disservice to fellow Caymanians for saying this and Cayman Net
News should never have printed it in the first place. Completely
irresponsible! Shame on you!
Just because something is natural, does not mean it is necessarily good or
the best treatment. What do you have to say about opium, arsenic or radon
gas? These are all natural, but downright harmful. Stop perpetuating the
not-so-thinly-veiled insinuation that medical science is in some way evil or
only out for "profiteering". Although those aspects do happen and should be
corrected, medical science and the governing bodies which regulate it (FDA
for example) have proven that MAN-MADE and repeatably reliable treatments
have effectiveness reaching 10x-100x that of home remedies in MOST
instances.
Get educated, my brother. Stop the spread of ignorance so that all
Caymanians can live long, healthy lives - Incredulous and Angry
