Cayman National launches new Master Series Funds

Thursday, July 8, 2004

Cayman National has now introduced its Master Series Funds to potential investors in the Cayman Islands.

The Master Series features the choice and flexibility of investing in the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index Fund and the Absolute Return Fund.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average Index Fund is seen to have a moderate risk rating more suitable for the assertive investor.

This fund’s objective is to track the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a price weighted average of thirty significant stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange, and is fitting for the confident investor who can appreciate its performance.

A more conservative investor may prefer the Absolute Return Fund, which operates under the premise of making investments into several funds with established performance.

These funds typically consist of hedge funds, where an investment manager, may for example, make use of two or more securities which are likely to move in opposition to each other.

This strategy is intended to diminish the risk which would exist if only one of the securities was held.

The Absolute Return Fund’s allocation of assets to each underlying fund varies depending on the performance of each underlying fund, and market conditions.

Investors are able to move their allocation of resources between the two funds. The Master Series has the potential to assist investors in building their wealth and meeting their personal financial goals.

The minimum initial investment in the Master Series is US $5,000 with subsequent contributions being US $500.

More information about the new investment instruments can be obtained by calling 949-6690 and also by emailing: MasterSeries@CaymanNational.com
