Red Cross receives flood relief donation
The Director of the Cayman Islands Branch of the
British Red Cross, Jondo Obi (middle) received a
donation of over CI$1,000 last week from the Minister
of Community Services, Dr the Hon Frank McField to go
toward the relief efforts for the victims of the recent
flooding in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The
money was raised through a benefit concert held at
the Corner Pocket on 1 July preformed by the all-
female Cuban band Show Me, the members of which
are also pictured here.
