Market Cayman is now meeting once a week every Saturday, instead of once a month.

The market meets on School Road, George Town, and products on offer range from fruits and vegetables, to flowers, ornaments, clothes, shoes, soft drinks and cooked food.

Stall-holder Myrtle Thomas grows all the fruit, vegetables and ornamental plants that she sells. On display at her stall are a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including collard greens, calalloo, etioti apples, red coat plums and ackee.

On another stall, vendor Louise Clarke said, “We’re selling flowers, candleholders, picture frames, clothes and baskets.”
