Lazarus EM Lindsay

A beautiful day in the Lower Valley can be made only better if Lazarus EM Lindsay happens to be at his fruit stand in Savannah selling mangoes and ackees.

Now eighty-four years old, Lazarus has been farming in Grand Cayman for the last twenty-two years.

Nominated to be Person of the Day by one of his customers who appreciates his friendliness and fair prices, Lazarus says he loves to sell the fruits of his work and meet people.

When he is not tending to his farm, Lazarus greatly enjoys lying in his bed, or chatting with his family and friends. On occasion, he slips to the beach for a short swim.

Feeling very blessed for the life he has been given, Lazarus believes that when people try to make good and pray to the Lord, the Lord will provide for them.
