Letter to the Editor
Self-centred Bodden’s time has now come and gone
Friday, July 23, 2004
Dear Sir,
I read Mr Bodden’s letter with keen interest on why he is against the party system. In my opinion, Mr Bodden would be against the party because he is too selfish and has done very well without one.
For a man who feeds at the top of the food chain twice over as a lawyer and banker, now he wants to triple dip by running for elective office again.
Mr Bodden’s time has passed. We all remember Truemanomics were: Cayman’s children were shortchanged on education, nothing was done on Constitutional advancement, and Cayman’s infrastructure was totally ignored.
Cayman has come too far too turn back the clock and its future to self-centered elitist politicians, who only believe in me, myself and I.
Those days are long gone. That is why a party system is here today, tomorrow and for ever. Get over it.
