Call for artists made by United World Colleges

The United World Colleges (Cayman Islands) National Foundation is extending a call to all artists to submit works of any medium for auction during the first annual ‘Cayman: Strength Through Diversity Awards.’

The awards ceremony and silent art auction will be held at the Grand Old House on 20 August 2004, and is organised in partnership with the CI National Gallery and CI Chamber of Commerce.

Submissions should reflect the theme ‘Cayman: Strength Through Diversity,’ or any of the aspects of multiculturalism in Cayman.

The deadline is August 13 and interested individuals can get more information by contacting 914 1517 or by email at: ci_uwc_events@yahoo.com.

The award will be presented to local businesses in recognition of their commitment to diversity, multiculturalism and service to the Caymanian community.
