Sandra Catron Says ‘No’ To People’s Progressive Movement

Candidate 2004 Bodden Town election hopeful Sandra Catron has indicated that she will remain an independent candidate throughout this year’s campaign. “I will not be seeking the PPM's (People’s Progressive Movement) nomination at all and instead will be running as an independent.”

Although Ms Catron initially announced herself as an independent candidate, many speculated that the PPM member would run with that party if nominated.

"Effectively due to time constraints and the desire to put my constituents first, I have had to proceed as an independent,” she said. “I have been meeting with my constituents, working on my website and doing a lot of behind the scenes work."

Last week, Ms Catron launched a new political website at www.caymanfirst.ky
