Cayman Airways flight additions and cancellations

Wednesday, August 11, 2004

Cayman Airways have announced that all flights scheduled for today, Wednesday August 11th, will operate as planned. Additional flights to Miami will be added for Wednesday evening for any passengers wanting to depart the island.

Detailed information on these added flights will be available by 2pm and further information will be released at that time. Passengers are asked to call CAL reservations if they wish to travel on one of these extra flights. Passengers are asked to call Cayman Airways reservations to find out the additional flight times. Cayman Airways Express flight 4124 at 4:40pm to Cayman Brac and Little Cayman has been cancelled for today.

Based on Tropical Storm Charley’s current path and expected weather conditions in Grand Cayman, the national airline has decided to cancel FLT 102 to Miami on Thursday August 12th, 2004. Passengers originally scheduled on those flights will be accommodated on the Miami or Fort Lauderdale flights later on Thursday. In addition, Cayman Airways Express flights 4120/4121/4122 to/from Cayman Brac and Little Cayman on Thursday August 12, 2004 have also been cancelled.

All other flights scheduled for Thursday will operate but may be subject to delays depending on the impact of the weather.

Passengers can make reservations for today’s extra sections to Miami by calling their local travel agent or Cayman Airways at telephone 949-2311.
