Cayman National Bank customer Larry Scott was the lucky winner of the Olympic Quest VISA Debit Card Campaign, winning a trip for two to Athens to see Cayman’s Olympians compete in the 2004 Games.

Mr Scott used his debit card during the campaign on purchases of CI$75 or more and was automatically entered to win along with several other CNB VISA Debit Card Users. CNB Representatives drew his name on 10 August during a live Daybreak 27 show.

“We were very excited to award Mr Scott and his guest with travel to Athens, Greece, with five nights and six days accommodations at a five-star resort and Olympic tickets,” said Ormond Williams, CNB President.

“This is one of the ways we have chosen to thank our customers for supporting the Bank’s commitment to Cayman’s young swimmers,” Mr Williams added. “Every time a customer uses their VISA Debit Card, ten-cents is automatically donated to CIASA’s Senior Team. It is through our combined support that Cayman’s Olympic Swimmers will have the opportunity to compete for the first time in history for an Olympic medal.”

Cayman National Bank also has several of its merchants involved in the campaign to encourage their customers to use their CNB VISA Debit Cards. Ten of CNB’s local merchants offered special discounts to customers who used their debit cards throughout the months of July and August.

While the drawing for the Grand Prize Winner is over, CNB VISA Debit Card customers still have a chance to win other great prizes by using their card. Every time they make a purchase of CI$75 or more with their CNB VISA Debit Card, they will be automatically entered to win weekly prizes up to the end of August 2004.
