- Well doesn’t this starch your britches? I hope a few British subjects
living in the Cayman Islands who I know are people of integrity and
Christian values, will quickly run for office, if it is not too late, so we
can have better choices for our House of Assembly. Having said that, I would
like to suggest that Caymanians by birth, who have acquired citizenship
elsewhere, should still be allowed to run for election and have the
opportunity to serve the land of their birth. This error in the law, brings
us to that old wise and true Caymanian adage "Oh what tangled webs we weave,
when first we practice to deceive", or the other one "Haste makes waste" -
