Another fatal shooting in the vicinity of Hell Road

CID Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding yet another death in the West Bay area

A 20-year old Jamaican National was shot on Thursday, 26 August. in the middle of the afternoon. The victim has been identified as Kurt Karlando Rowe.

The Emergency Communications Centre (911) received a report at around 3:55 pm involving the sound of gun shots being heard in the vicinity of Miss Daisy Lane, off Hell Road in West Bay.

Police and Paramedics responded to the scene and the victim, who sustained gun shot wounds, was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was later pronounced dead by doctors.

Five people are currently in custody assisting officers with what is now a murder enquiry.

However, detectives are still seeking witnesses or people with any information regarding this incident that may help with their enquiries.
