- We all have to be concerned about the increase in
liquor licenses and liquor establishments. It is not only a financial
burden on families, but wreaks havoc on the lives of the children and
spouses in a home where the alcohol is consumed out of proportion. If we
want to cut down on domestic violence -- stop making liquor so easily
obtainable. When the liquor or hard drugs are in, the senses are gone, and
violence results. That is a fact.
As for McKeeva Bush, he has absolutely no right to call himself a preacher
and stand in any pulpit, unless it is in a meeting of Satan worshippers. I
am not a Wesleyan, however I read the Wesleyan Devotional book faithfully,
as does one of my sons, and I am not a member of the Wesleyan Church in
Grand Cayman, but I do attend a Wesleyan Church from time to time, and
McKeeva Bush is a mighty poor representative of what the Wesleyan Church
stands for, and teaches.
The Bible says you cannot serve God and mammon (money - greed -
self-aggrandizement), and McKeeva is on the top of the list for breaking
these and other laws of God. People of West Bay, if you don't like what is
happening to your community - remember that McKeeva chose to approve the
lifting of the liquor moratorium. Put a permanent moratorium on him by
removing him from the Legislative Assembly permanently - Another
