More injuries on the roads report RCIP

Monday, September 6, 2004

Traffic Officers from the RCIP were kept busy again last week when they responded to a number of road traffic accidents where motorists were injured.

On Wednesday lunch time officers were called to a two vehicle accident involving a Mitsubishi Nativa and a Honda Civic at the junction of Bobby Thompson Way and Smith Road.

Both drivers sustained injuries and were treated at the Cayman Islands Hospital. The circumstances surrounding the accident are now under investigation.

Later on the same day officers and paramedics were called to the scene of an accident in the vicinity of Kipling Street, Bodden Town.

A male resident received injuries to his leg and arm after falling off a motor scooter and he was taken to the Hospital for treatment.
