Recovery Funds for those without insurance

Friday, October 8, 2004

The Cayman Islands National Recovery Fund has been established to collect and distribute funds donated to aid recovery efforts in the Cayman Islands. The Recovery Fund Trustees have announced that application forms for financial assistance are now available. Homes not insured and requiring roof repairs, window and or door replacements may qualify for up to CI$10,000 in financial aid.

Applications are available at all major banks, the Cayman Islands Hospital, the Glass House, Hurley’s, Foster’s, police stations, civic centres and gas stations in the various districts.

Applications must be completed in full and dropped off in person at the Cayman Islands National Recovery Fund Office, located on the 3rd floor of Andersen Square, Shedden Road.

Anyone requiring assistance with completing the form should contact any church official, Justice of the Peace, police officer, teacher, election officer, doctor, social worker or any other responsible member of the community.
