- When we were living there for 18 years, I preached that unless the Cayman people change their ways, something was going to happen. When some people took and destroyed the church in Prospect, I knew it was just a matter of time before God was going to show his wrath. 'Be not deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that shall he reap.’ Please wake up before it is too late... this storm is only the tip of the iceberg - Brother Bill Wilson
- I want to thank you all so much for getting us information out when no one else could. I am resident of Cayman who is currently in Canada. I have lived in Cayman for 10 years and love the country and its people. I pray for everyone to be safe. Please let us know when we can return to help - Lisa Turner
- Thank you so much to Cayman Net News for the updates. We have dear friends on Cayman, plus we own property on Seven Mile Beach and we have been extremely concerned about the people enduring this hurricane. No matter the devastation, we love the island and the people and we'll rebuild and continue to support tourism for Cayman - Scot and Misty Sorensen
- Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Cayman during this dreadful period. We know that with your strong spirit and banding together of Caymanian and expatriates that you will be back on top as quickly as possible. Our best wishes go out to all - Deana and Randy Pringle, London, Ontario
- We are frequent visitors to your beautiful Island. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the wonderful people of Cayman. Hearts in Houston, Texas are breaking for you. Much love and prayers to you all - The Tsusaki Family
- You have done a totally amazing job in horrific circumstances. Thank you. What a terrible thing to happen to such a wonderful place and people. We are all thinking of you - Richard Morgan
- I am so grateful to the Cayman Net News for its dedication to keeping the hurricane information up to date. It has been the only reliable information I have been able to access on the conditions in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac from the U.S. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Especially Tom, Vandeen, Derek and family, Sandra, Esther M. and family and all residents of East End, Bodden Town and North Side. God bless you all. Love - Laura Curtis
- I love your island and am a regular visitor every year and have been for the last 20 years. I love your people and was disappointed not to have received any details about the damage caused by Ivan through the US TV Networks. All they were reporting was about Jamaica, the possibility of it hitting western Cuba etc. etc. Very little mention at all about Grand Cayman. I appreciate your updates and send you my prayers and good wishes, and speedy recovery. God bless your people and your Island - Karl Gensheimer
- As a former four-year resident of Grand Cayman and someone who still has many friends there, I applaud your coverage and feedback, seemingly the only found on the Web. My thoughts and well wishes are with many residents, including (but not limited to) Dawn, Bobby Love, Steve R., Steve M., and many others. All the best - Nicholas Wilson
- My heartfelt prayers and gratitude to you for these reports for those of us with heavy hearts, who are away from our loved ones in the Cayman Islands. You are appreciated so very much, Mr. Desmond, for your continued struggle in the field of journalism to give us all hope and a voice. We all have to remember from now on, to stay on our knees and forget the greed that has been leading us into ruination. As long as we have our lives, we can rebuild. May God help us to follow the right path from now on - Naomi D. Oyog
