The Cable & Wireless Mobile Van has once again taken to the streets of Grand Cayman to provide services currently unavailable to customers.
In the early days after Hurricane Ivan hit the Island, leaving many people without the means to contact their loved ones, the Cable & Wireless mobile van and staff travelled to hurricane shelters in the outer districts to collect names and contact details to pass messages on to friends and family, here in Cayman and abroad.
Now, the van is offering Cable & Wireless customers free Internet access giving them the chance to check their emails or even surf the web.
The schedule for the van this week is Bodden Town, Wednesday 3 November, South Sound Thursday 4 November, Seven Mile Beach – Regatta Business Centre on Friday 5 November and Spotts on Saturday 6 November.
Free Internet is also available at Cable & Wireless retail stores at the Marquee Shopping Centre (next to the Cinema) and at Anderson Square. Additional locations include the West Bay Communication Station, Trinity Square Communication Station and even C&W staff member Darrel Rankin’s house in East End.
This offer of Free Internet is available until 1 December. Cable & Wireless customers should bring their C&W dialup or ADSL login ID in order to take advantage of this free offer.
