LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Memories of Cayman are still very dear

Friday, November 5, 2004

Dear Sir:

Having spent an incredible two weeks in Grand Cayman (at the Villas of the Galleon) in 1983 for my honeymoon... and holding dear to my heart so many incredible memories of the place and the people there ... the marriage didn’t last but, the memories are still very dear to my heart.

Please let me know if there is some way I can help. I don’t have very much to offer but will do what I can.

It’s been said that some people have “left their hearts in San Francisco”. Well, I left my heart in the Cayman Islands. My tears are very real when seeing the photographs in the news of the tremendous devastation on your beautiful island.

I pray for all those who have been affected by this terrible storm.

Ellen I. Barbara
