- Cell phone drivers could be charged
Could be, and should be. Some business people need to have cell phones in
their vehicle for business purposes, but they should pull off the road and
park if they have an important call that can’t wait. The general public
should do the same if they can’t leave their cell phones alone while driving
in traffic. Cell phones, though a convenience, are a serious problem,
endangering the lives of other people in traffic as well as the lives of
those in the vehicle where the cell phone is being used.
An example of “from the sublime to the ridiculous”, was last Sunday, I was
visiting a church, and a scruffy-dressed person sitting in the second row up
front, was on a cell phone talking while a prayer chorus was being sung.
Caymanian mothers taught their children an important adage “There’s a time

- Estimated insured losses over $700M
The amount paid out by insurance companies after almost 2 months still
amount to less than 10 percent of the estimated total so it seems that we
can expect final payments sometime in the year 2006! Forget about taking
advantage of Government’s duty reduction - Underinsured

Prayers to all the good people in the Cayman Islands. Prayer, vigilance and
right action will see you all through this disaster
