Lineman at work at Buckingham Square

Brian Exum, pictured working in Buckingham Square,
is just one of the many linemen from CUC and the
supporting companies, who have helped to get the
Island connected again. Working in dangerous
conditions, high temperatures and the rain until the
last of each day’s light, these linemen like Mr Exum
have worked ceaselessly. As a result of their hard
work, by Friday, 5 November, all connectable homes,
offices, shops and other buildings in the George
Town area had been re-connected to the power
supply.
