- Natural cures are the simple and very best solution
I’m a fifty-four year-old woman (in pretty good health) and recently began to have sore joints in my fingers - particularly my right thumb. My doctor told me it was arthritis and offered pain killers. So, I am searching the internet, my health books, health stores, etc. I’m ‘gathering’ information right now - so I can formulate a plan. I’m emailing you in case you may have a piece to the puzzle. Thank you if you respond -

- Hurricane Ivan breaking records
I was there during the hurricane, and what a scary thing it was, bringing devastation to those all around us -

- Two amateur radio enthusiasts kept the world in touch with the Cayman Islands
I just wanted to thank these two gentlemen for their work the night of Ivan. I live in Canada and was listening to a livestream from Hurricane City in Florida which had been receiving information both from the hurricane hunter plane following Ivan and getting information from these two men. I have family on Grand Cayman and felt so helpless that night. But these two gentlemen helped a lot of us through a difficult time and should really be commended for their ingenuity. I will always remember that night and the two people who were the lifeline to my family -

- Urgent US military intervention needed in Grand Cayman
So, you go to the Caymans to avoid US taxes, but now you want the US help. Hmm… sure, move your headquarters to the US and pay taxes. This is a win-win for us all -

- WestStar free cable service to end soon
It would be brilliant if Westar allowed us to re-sign over the Internet instead of having to wait in long line ups and dealing with surly help -

- National Hurricane Committee Stands Down
I am awed by the dedication, professionalism and commitment I witnessed from the NHC and many others before, during and after. You all deserve so much praise and respect. The Cayman Islands is lucky to have such people -

So, was Cayman Airlines really that good or was the government not letting other airlines in? Rumors abound, but I would like to know the official stance -

- Cruise ships return to Grand Cayman on November 1
Now people will understand once and for all why McKeeva was pushing for a dock. We need tourism! Cruise ship tourism is able to come in fast. Not stay-over visitors. Thank God he didn’t listen to that group of people -

- CUC connects three quarters of its customers
It is really awesome that there are people going from the US to help regain power to the island. I have a special someone that has gone down there to work and it is also outstanding that the company has provided as much as they have. Keep up the good work and we are hoping to see them home soon! Thinking of JBL! -

- More Radio Stations Good For The Cayman Islands
Finally. Maybe the snotty, back-stabbing industry my colleagues have told me of there might improve to a degree. And clients might stop getting shafted by overzealous sales reps who think they own the island. Way to go folks -

- To Desmond Seales
I left on September 21 to stay in Omaha with relatives ‘til the water and power are back on. At 72 I felt I was more of a liability than a help. I saw your first, FREE edition and am SO proud of you and your staff.
Desmond… you are truly now a national hero. I once told you I considered you
a Phoenix… and once again it has proven true. ‘til we meet again... cheers -

Hey clever people, why don’t you ask this question to “fat cat McKeeva Bush?” Serves you right having a leader like him! -

- ‘Dah Beach Belong To We’
Cayman should make sure that this saying here “Any attempt to restrict access to or the use of any beach in the Cayman Islands is a breach of faith with the people of the Cayman Islands” is never forgotten by people that have or want to do business on this beautiful island. I think that it’s a shame when big famous hoteliers come and set foot on the sand and start barring off the beach, calling it their beach. That just burns me up. I think that it’s wrong and shameful when the government allows this to happen. Why does money always have to do the talking when it comes to the government officials? They have to remember lots of people want to come do business in Cayman. They don’t need to do any effort towards that. And, they need to lay the law out and make these companies understand that there is no such thing as The Westin Beach. Maybe in Mexico or somewhere else, but not in Cayman! “We a run tings down here!” The island needs to be free for the Caymanians, AMEN! -

- Hurricane Ivan continues to batter Grand Cayman
I arrived to my first home from Grand Cayman yesterday. The destruction in Cayman is incredible and the lack of aid being provided is even more incredible. The lack of running water is going to cause sickness any day. I saw young children, babies and elderly persons arriving in Cayman. Why is that? The world doesn’t know what happened to us and why? It’s disgusting. The media has not done its job and parts of the Caymanian government are failing its people. I understand business is money and money is what helped built this country (to an extent) but the Caymanians are suffering the worst with the cover up of destruction to calm the fears of law firms and accountants. The poor are suffering. My thoughts are with all the families and friends of mine who have decided to stay and rebuild the great country. And one more thing… what happened to the freedom of information and speech? I can’t believe the media has failed the people. How could they not get pictures? People have died… civilians are now police officers guarding banks, grocery stores and airports. What is going on? The navy ships have gone and with them their help. The island is absolutely destroyed… it is unbelievable. Thank you and my prayers are with the people of Cayman -
