LETTER TO THE EDITOR

It ain't fitting

Wednesday, December 1, 2004

Dear Sir,

My prayers and support is with Mr. Anthony Scott, and the members of HEAVO, who are standing up for their rights, and the rights of all Caymanians, in this most unfair granting of the contract to this questionable company, MC Restoration.

Why do MC Restoration have to bring in their own equipment, and duty free at that, how stupid are we supposed to be? Why can’t they use the equipment and operators that are Caymanian owned?

Okay, maybe I can’t see any fairness in the granting of this contract and all the extra freebies to MC Restoration, and maybe I’m not qualified or able to not be biased in this matter, but like a Banty Rooster, I am prepared, as always, to stand up and fight back when Caymanians are being railroaded and stomped down.

Like the famous quote from Gone with the Wind...”If it ain’t fitting...it ain’t fitting...and, IT AIN’T FITTING”. Lord give us strength to fight off our oppressors!
