TeleCayman announced that they are now ready to offer their full range of services, after a series of setbacks caused by damage to their Savannah and West Bay towers have been overcome.

TeleCayman has already been offering Internet services to the corporate community within the Seven Mile Beach, George Town, Industrial Park and South Sound areas, and work teams have been trying to restore coverage to the remainder of the island.

Gilbert Chalifoux, Senior Vice President of Technical Operations, commented: “We are proud to be the first alternative provider of land lines in the history of the Cayman Islands, and are dedicated to ensuring that our customers receive the exceptional quality of product and service levels that they expect and deserve.

“Our top priority was to get our land line phones connected. Now that is complete, we are focusing on broadening our reach to include residents.”
