Vibe 98.9 FM’s 3rd Anniversary

Fort Street in downtown, George Town once again provided the setting for a street party Cayman style. This time however, the evening was extra special as Vibe 98.9 FM, the station that has provided so much of the street party music in the wake of Ivan, celebrated its own third anniversary, on Friday, 17 December.

The Vibe team arranged an exciting birthday bash that attracted a huge crowd of the station’s fans and well-wishers, with the event endorsed by Digicel.

The evening was filled with both prizes and surprises, including the grand prize - a trip to the one day international cricket match to see West Indies play South Africa, courtesy of Digicel.

Vibe and Partysurfers.ky also gave away trips, courtesy of Air Jamaica, Sandals and Beaches Resort. 

The Vibe 98.9 FM DJ team combined their talents and creativity to entertain the massive crowd of approximately 3000 patrons, who just loved all the give-aways, as well as the fantastic mix of music.

Deon and Bannie were the evening’s excellent MCs and they made sure everybody was feeling the Vibe. And by the end of the night everybody went home partied out and wearing a brand new Digicel limited edition West Indies Cricket shirt.
