Dear Sir:
As a many year American visitor to Grand Cayman, I now visit your on-line
newspaper to update myself on Grand Cayman.
Since the Island has been very secretive about Hurricane Ivan and the
massive destruction, it would be wonderful if one of your staff could write a
fairly lengthy editorial about the remaining damage, the timing and prospects
for recovery, an update on hotels, restaurants, dive operations and retail,
the general economics and the timing for honest reinstatement of tourism,
particularly from the US, etc.
That would be very helpful, I think, for a lot of us in the U. S. who have
really been uninformed for several months and would like to return to our
chosen island.
