Music Mogul and Bodden Town Football Club in association with Quick Cash and Island Photo introduced ‘Earth A Run Red’ to the Cayman Islands on Friday14 January. The Country and Western parking lot provided the venue for an awesome event where a collection of local and regional artistes got together to give a sensational night’s performance.
Anthony Curz, Chuck Fender and Richie Spice, performed live on stage for the first time in Cayman, with back up support from Impulze Band, Atom Force and DJ Flex, and The Fifth Element Crew completed the night’s line-up. Together the performers all ensured the night’s proceedings were a big hit with the audience that had gathered to watch the musicians in action.
MC Deon Matthis got the crowd going with her animated personality. She introduced the artistes and performers with aplomb and took full part in the night’s festivities. Cayman’s own local artistes: Lian Asade and Anju Priest (Maxie Priest’s cousin) both showed the appreciative Cayman crowd exactly what they could do in the entertainment arena.
Anthony Cruz was the first to hit the stage out of the three guest artistes. From Mandeville, Jamaica he brought a sweet voice to Cayman to hypnotize the crowd. Chuck Fender, one of the DJs everybody was looking forward to seeing, got down to the serious business of entertaining the crowd with hit after hit. Guests held lighters in the air to show how much they loved his music. Richie Spice had everybody shouting for more when it was his turn to hit the stage.
A spiritual man who sings for the people and not himself, Richie gave a fine performance. His fans were moved to sing along with every song he preformed on stage. Music Mogul put on a terrific and creative event with the assistance of Quick Cash, Island Photos, New Attitude Beauty Salon and Pit Bull drink – A great way to start the year and a great way to continue.
