Too much loud music in West Bay reported

Wednesday,  January  26, 2005

Police Officers from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, (RCIPS) West Bay Police Station said they are continuing to receive reports of people playing loud music either at their residences or in their vehicles in the area. As a result they would like to remind the public that this is an offence under the Town and Community Law.

One warning will be issued to loud music offenders and any person who further breaches the law will be prosecuted and can expect to pay a fine and/or have their music equipment confiscated.

Persons who would like to make a loud music report in the district are encouraged to contact the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999 or 949-3990.
