Taking a break in the late afternoon from laying down a
roof on Mary Street, two workers watch tourists being ferried back to their
cruise ships and the passing cars in the streets below.
Skilled roofers are some of the most valuable construction
workers on the Island at present with so many homes and businesses needing to
have their roofs replaced or repaired in the wake of the damage sustained during
Ivan.
