Protecting the future of Cayman’s turtles

Things continue to look good for the future of Turtles as kids from Savannah Primary School make a commitment to protect them. For the third consecutive year, Joni Solomon (centre) from the Department of Environment gave a presentation on Cayman’s sea turtles to Year 1 students, at Savannah Primary. Following the presentation, the students pledged to protect the turtles. Pictured are the Year 1 students with their pledge certificates long with support assistant Delva Hurlston-Watler (left) and their teacher Kiva Powell (right).
