The Cayman Islands Humane Society is holding a Primary School Writing Contest. Stories, essays or poems can be written under one of two different titles: ‘What I Like Best About My Pet,’ or, ‘Things I Have Learned From My Pet.’

The entries must be in the student’s own handwriting and consist of no more than 100 words. The competition is open to all students between Year 1 and Year 6.

The deadline for entries is 24 March 2005. The winners will be announced and prizes awarded at the Dog Show on 2 April.
