Our peaceful Islands have had a dramatic change

Dear Sir and my fellow Caymanians,

Prov. 14:34 “Righteousness Exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.”

“Without a Vision my People Perish”.

Fellow Caymanians if someone had told you five years ago, that our country would be in the Political mess we find our self in tonight: I would have said; not a chance in the world. But our country has never been where we are tonight: “But” Conjunction in my opinion in spite of all the fan fare; no one would have dreamed it, but it’s a reality: Vindictiveness, intimidation, corruption, scandals, controversy that’s today’s Cayman Islands: and escalating crime: “But Caymanians this Land is your Land;” this Land is our Land!

Do you wonder why we are where we are? We sit down too long: and instead speaking out and standing up: Feb. 18th 2005 Cayman Compass, “U.D.P., PPM, agree on Independence: 

Net News Friday 25th 2005 “H.S.A. in disarray” reports as many as 35 say people have left or resigned. Net News Feb. 2005 “Is UDP dying?” All but the shouting! Thank God”.

In Cayman Compass Dec. 12th 2004 Paraphrasing “ Party system tend to breathe corruption and according to what we have experienced last four years leave no doubt in my opinion:

So many of our people have worked, toil & laboured to make these beautiful Islands what the world envied.

These peaceful Islands have had a dramatic change these past four years in my opinion. It almost seems like every week there’s some scandal, on some crime or controversy, something that doesn’t add to our way of life.

Crime has escalated and it seems we are losing control of our homeland, and in the way it looks, if you have money everything’s for sale.

There is no doubt in my opinion, If the UDP party is returned for the next four years. In my opinion that would be a safe bet but I don’t bet. But there’s no doubt in my opinion if they are returned Cayman Islands will be an independent nation. The rich getting richer the poor get poorer:
Caymanians I want to express my opinion and my knowledge. We might be quiet but not dumb, easy going and patient but knows when to stop and when to speak: Caymanians in spite of all the gifts and presents and money.

Please let’s have something for our children: Forget the party system; elect men and women of integrity and those who you can trust our homeland with, these next four years.

UDP party in my opinion have almost ruined our land, called Cayman Islands. Caymanians, give John Jefferson Sr. and John Jefferson Jr. two of your votes and choose two more on that same plane, then say Caymanians; help is on the way. This could be our finest hour. 

My fellow Caymanians I have always said ‘If you tell the Cayman Islands people the truth, they will come up with the right answer’.

I want to say to our people if the UDP party were re-elected “There wouldn’t be anything left in these Islands for Caymanians!

This year we are grossly out numbered, next year we will be out-voted! What will Caymanians have left?

If ever you are offered money on things, please remember when you go to the polls May 11th you are voting persons that’s going to work toil and labour; to make Caymanians first.

I ask Caymanians when you go to the polls forget UDP and choose people that can be trusted, will be working to restore integrity of these Islands and not special interest groups! This is an expression of my opinion.
