- A great necessity for change says former British MP
This interview confirms what we have always suspected. If this government, and McKeeva in particular, did not create such a confrontational relationship with the UK, Cayman would have fared better after Ivan with more aid from the UK. Perhaps the EU Directive would have been dealt with more amicably as well. Food for thought. The writing is on the wall! -

- In the words of the late great English Bard... Methinks thou dost protest too much. Mr. Bush, hopefully the upcoming elections will tame your protesting! -

- Well, it sounds like someone is a little scared. Perhaps because someone isn’t afraid to put his opinion in black and white, it has Mr. Bush a little unnerved. -

I think you did an excellent job Cayman Net News! (As always). To add to your very valid points, please let me inform you that up until one year ago, staff was told that we contributed already to our pension (6%). Please let me explain. When one received a contract it stated, for example, that one would be paid e.g. CI$34,848 per annum ($2,904 per month); however one really only received $2,740 per month ($32,880). Once questioned, it was stated that it was the 6% difference for pension. The question is never are they lying, it is rather, who ISN’T? And How LITTLE is TRUE?
Thank You. I am an employee and cherish my job, as they are hard to come by, but someone must stand up... even unto the pain of hardship. -

- Coalition Government is the best choice
Having viewed the names of the candidates being put forward by the UDP amd the PPM parties, I fully agree with the Hon. Linford Pierson that a coalition of independents together with elected candidates from the two parties is the best choice for the Cayman Islands following the May 2005 General Elections. - Anon

Heart disease is the number one killer in the Cayman Islands. When you lose the only cardiologist at the government hospital that is a very serious problem! -
