Nominations wanted for 2006 honours

HE the Governor
Bruce Dinwiddy
HM Queen Elizabeth II

Friday,  April 15, 2005

HE the Governor Bruce Dinwiddy invites members of the public to submit nominations for Her Majesty The Queen’s New Year’s Honours 2006. Nominations must be received by Monday 2 May 2005.

Final recommendations for OBEs and MBEs are considered in the United Kingdom. Recommendations for the Certificate and Badge of Honour are considered locally.

While all recommendations will be acknowledged, the Governor’s Office cannot enter into correspondence about the action taken on them. It is stressed that for any award, long service is not enough. The grounds for the award should bring out the type of service that is exceptional and the way in which the nominee has rendered service demonstrably better than service rendered by others in the same grade, profession or calling.
Honours nomination forms can be collected from the reception desk of the Government Administration Building or requested by e-mail from Alison Bach at Alison.Bach@fco.gov.uk.

Please make every effort to fully complete all the relevant sections. Once completed, the forms should be submitted, under confidential cover, to the Governor’s Office.
