Chamber of Commerce District forums

The next Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce, (CICC) District Forum will be on Thursday, 21 April 7:00 pm at the East End Civic Centre in East End with the two local candidates standing in the district. Arden McLean, People’s Progressive Movement, (PPM) candidate will face-off with Independent candidate and election veteran John McLean. 

On Friday, 22 April John A Cumber School Hall in West Bay will provide the venue for a boosted session as two of the candidates from last weeks shortened forum in West Bay join the panel.

Rolston Anglin and Eugene Ebanks from the United Democratic Party, (UDP), will face West Bay Alliance, (WBA) candidates Dalkeith Bothwell and Leonard N Ebanks as well as independent candidates Cadian Ebanks and John Jefferson Sr.

On Monday, 25 April 7:00 pm at the St. Ignatius School Hall in George Town John Henry Ebanks, a new recruit for the UDP will face political veterans Alden McLaughlin from the PPM and Linford Pierson from the newly formed People’s Democratic Alliance, (PDA) along with Gary Rankin a first time candidate with the PDA and Lucille Seymour PPM candidate.

On Tuesday, 26 April at 7:00 pm at the North Side United Church Hall Alex E. Johnson who is running on the UDP ticket will face independent candidate Derrington "Bo" Miller and the current member of the Legislative Assembly for North Side Edna Moyle. 

Finally the Leader of Government Business and the United Democratic Party will face the forum once again after the power failure at his first appearance and will be answering questions on Friday 29 April at 7:00 p.m. at the John A. Cumber School Hall (West Bay) with independent candidate Bernie Bush, WBA members Thomas C. Jefferson and Mario Ebanks as well as Mr Bush’s party colleague Cline Glidden, (UDP) and independent John Jefferson Jr.

All the district forums will be chaired by CICC, CEO Wil Pineau.
