Arrest over snorkel accident

Police have arrested a 30-year old New Zealand national on suspicion of carrying out a dangerous and negligent act. The man was allegedly in charge of a vessel, which struck a snorkeller whose arm was severed at the shoulder. The man was bailed pending further enquiries. The 56-year-old victim remains in a serious condition in a Miami hospital.
