It’s finally time to put the last touches to your re-decorating with adding accessories and artwork. It’s one of the most important steps in creating fabulous interiors just like the pros in the design magazines. It’s also time to personalize your space with family portraits and collections.

Accessories complete the room especially in children’s rooms which tend to be themed.

When you are selecting accessories, keep in mind you are enhancing the room and not to go overboard. I usually arrange items in sets of three or odd numbers for table top accessories and artwork. If you have a collection of items such as candles group them together instead of separately throughout the room. More impact is created this way.

Artwork is a great way to add colour and impact into a neutral room. Just remember to hang artwork at eye level and group smaller pictures together just like accessories.

And sometimes a great piece of artwork is the inspiration and starting point in selecting your wall colours and furniture for your new décor and lifestyle.
